Frequently asked questions

How do I restore FerroFluid Pro?
  1. Open FerroFluid.
  2. Select a locked feature such as Trace, Drift, Color, or Skin.
  3. On the FerroFluid Pro screen, select Restore Purchases.

Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. FerroFluid Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase.

Why is the displayed Pro price different from another region?

FerroFluid displays the current local price supplied by the App Store. Currency, taxes, and regional pricing are managed by Apple and may vary by storefront.

My Pro purchase is not appearing. What should I try?
  • Confirm that the device is signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase.
  • Check that the device has an internet connection.
  • Open the Pro screen and select Restore Purchases.
  • Restart FerroFluid and try again.

If the App Store reports a transaction problem, contact Apple Support. FerroFluid does not receive payment card details or control App Store billing.

How do I record and save a video?
  1. Select the More button in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select the red record icon.
  3. When prompted, allow FerroFluid to add videos to Photos.
  4. Select the stop button in the recording indicator.

The video is created on your device and saved to your photo library. FerroFluid does not upload recordings.

Why can I not hear interaction sounds or Drift music?
  • Open the More menu and confirm the speaker button is enabled.
  • Raise the device media volume.
  • Check Silent Mode and any connected Bluetooth audio device.
  • In Drift, confirm that playback is not paused.
What devices are supported?

FerroFluid supports iPhone and iPad devices running iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later with Metal support. Visual performance can vary by device model.

Does FerroFluid require an account?

No. FerroFluid does not require account registration or sign-in. App Store purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple Account.
