Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FerroFluid: Magnetic ASMR handles information when you use the app and this support website.

1. Overview

FerroFluid runs locally on your iPhone or iPad and does not collect, store, sell, or transmit personal data from the app.

The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking technologies.

2. Information the app collects

FerroFluid does not collect personal information, contact information, identifiers, usage history, precise location, photos, videos, audio recordings, diagnostics, or advertising data.

The app does not send app activity or user-generated content to an external server.

3. Video recording and Photos access

If you choose to record a FerroFluid session, the video is rendered locally on your device. FerroFluid requests add-only access to your photo library so it can save the completed video.

  • Access is requested only when you use the recording feature.
  • The app does not read or browse your existing photo library.
  • Recordings are not sent outside your device.
  • Temporary recording files are removed after the save operation completes.

You can change Photos permission at any time in the iOS or iPadOS Settings app.

4. In-app purchases

FerroFluid offers an optional one-time FerroFluid Pro purchase using Apple's StoreKit and App Store services. Apple processes the transaction and provides the app with product availability and verified purchase entitlement information.

Payment card numbers, Apple Account passwords, and complete billing information are not received or stored by FerroFluid. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Audio and device features

Interaction sounds and Drift music are included with the app and played locally. When you use the recording feature, these app sounds are included in the saved video. FerroFluid does not request microphone access and does not record surrounding audio.

Visual rendering, touch input, haptic feedback, and camera-view controls are processed on the device.

6. Data sharing and retention

Because FerroFluid does not collect personal data from the app, app user data is not sold, rented, shared, or retained.

If you email support, the message is handled by the email service provider and retained only as needed to respond. Do not include sensitive personal information.

7. This support website

This website is a static site hosted by GitHub Pages. No custom cookies, advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or tracking pixels are added to this site.

GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs when delivering GitHub Pages. For details, review the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

8. Children's privacy

FerroFluid does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. The app does not provide account creation, social features, messaging, or user-generated content sharing.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if FerroFluid's features, data practices, or legal obligations change. The effective date and last-updated date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published.
